Learning about inbound marketing

Maybe I'm anal or even just cheap, but I can't see the point in paying somebody to do a sub optimal job of something I could do better myself.

The failing on my part has got me into learning about Inbound Marketing - reason being Outbound Marketing is completely swamped by companies with more cash than me.

So as a result I've learned a lot about generating traffic through publishing content and exploiting the Wordpress format to do it. I've also run the gauntlet of publishing in lots of other places including Blogger, Knols, Ning sites, Ezine Articles and iSnare. To round off the picture I've learned about Google Webmaster, Feedburner, Technorati and external links.

Helping people with this stuff isn't my business so I'm happy to share my experience and offer guidance to anybody starting out on this path.
